METHOD 1:  Oil Removal (Quick & Easy but Messy)

You’ll need: Cuticle oil (or any oil) and a cuticle stick

  • Apply oil around the edges of your press-ons, letting it seep between the press-ons and your natural nails.
  • Wait for 1 minute to loosen the adhesive.
  • Use a cuticle stick to gently lift the press-on from the edge.
  • Slowly peel off the nail. If it resists, apply more oil and try again.
  • Remove any sticky tab residue with the cuticle stick.
  • Clean the press-ons with soap and water or isopropyl alcohol before storing them.

METHOD 2: Soap & Water Removal (No mess but takes longer)

You’ll need: A bowl, warm soapy water, and a cuticle stick
  • Soak your nails in warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes.
  • Once the adhesive softens, gently lift the press-on from the edge using a cuticle stick.
  • Slowly peel off the nail. If it resists, soak your nails for another 10-15 minutes before trying again.
  • Remove any remaining sticky tabs with the cuticle stick.
  • Clean and store the press-ons for reuse.

Application with Solid Nail Tips Gel

Lasts 15-30 days
For even more durability, solid gel can be used with a UV lamp, offering wear that lasts up to 4 weeks. While the removal process is more involved, with careful removal, you can still potentially reuse the nails for future applications.

Prepare Your Nails:

  • Start by cleaning your nails thoroughly to remove any oils or dirt. Use a nail polish remover or alcohol wipe for best results.
  • Gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher and file your nails to your desired shape.
  • Buff the surface of your nails lightly to ensure better adhesion of the gel.

Apply a Base Coat:

  • Apply a thin layer of a clear base coat to your natural nails.
  • Allow the base coat to fully dry before moving to the next step.

Apply the Solid Nail Tips Gel:

  • Squeeze a small amount of solid nail tips gel onto the underside of the press-on nail.

Attach the Press-On Nail:

  • Start pressing from the center of the nail towards the cuticle, then apply downward pressure to remove any air bubbles.

Remove Excess Gel:

  • Clean any excess gel around the edges with an alcohol pad or a woodenstick.

Cure with UV/LED Lamp:

  • Cure under a UV/LED lamp for about 60 seconds to set the gel.
  • Ensure the gel is fully cured by shining the UV/LED light on the press-on nail from all sides: top, left, right, and underneath.
